The story of collaboration

Like most good Milwaukee stories, this one started over a beer. We’ve always been fans of Third Space Brewing because let’s be honest, what true Milwaukeean doesn’t have Happy Place stocked in the fridge? Third Space has been Giltee beer-cooler staple for years, and a hang at the brewery felt inevitable. So we were invited, decided to stay awhile, grab a drink, and talk through some ideas. From that first meet-up, it was clear we were in good company.

Over the summer, casual conversations turned into something bigger. We talked about what it means to create space—physical and emotional—for people to feel welcome. We talked about slowing down, living in the moment, and building community around good people and good times. Those shared beliefs mirror the heart of both brands: Giltee’s locally inspired, quality-crafted apparel and Third Space’s commitment to creating a true “third space” for connection beyond home and work.

As the friendship grew, so did the vision. When we started building Central Time, we knew we wanted it to be bigger than apparel—it had to be a mindset, a shared rhythm, a community. That alignment led to the creation of Third Spaces newest beer, the Central Time IPA.  When local brands come together with intention, authenticity, and good things happen. The Central Time community is growing and we couldn’t be more excited to raise a glass to what’s next.
